HIGH-ENERGY PARADES AND COLOURFUL CELEBRATION

On Sunday afternoon, discover the essence of a unique event in the world…

On Sunday morning, the city comes alive… Buses and cars dance through the streets... Like an endless procession, the crowd hurries, stretches along the seaside before gathering by the waterfront.

Today is a day of celebration! Confetti decorates the azure sky… Atmosphere creators, brass bands, and folk groups twirl, zigzag, and dance among the magnificent citrus floats...

Join us on Sundays, February 18th, 25th, and March 3rd, 2024, from 2:30 PM to 4 PM on the Promenade du Soleil in Menton

• During the Sunday parades, it is highly recommended to arrive in Menton before 11 AM.
• For hygiene and safety reasons, animals are not allowed at the parades or at the Palais de l’Europe.

People eligible for free admission (under 6 years old and disability card holders) must have an entry ticket
No entry will be allowed 30 minutes before the end of the course

To make it easier for you to access the Fête du Citron®, TER is expanding its services on parade days.

To facilitate your travels during the Fête du Citron®, we recommend that upon your arrival in Menton, you pay special attention to various road signs and notices:

From exit No. 59 of the A8 highway, signs indicate different reception zones (for cars, for campers...)
In the city, near the circuit, special attention should be given to municipal notices prohibiting parking.
Do not hesitate to approach the agents on-site if you have any doubts.

For parking, we recommend using public parking lots.
The best solution is to use public transportation.

The Menton City Hall informs all those wishing to attend the Corsos of the Fête du Citron®:

Considering the high number of vehicles heading to this event, it is advisable to follow these guidelines:

If possible, prefer the use of public transportation to get to Menton. The easiest way is to reach Menton via the TER/SNCF network. The Menton SNCF train station is located less than 200 meters from the entrance to our events).

If you decide to come on Sundays via the A8, arrive in Menton before 11 AM to take advantage of free parking near exit 59. (Signs will guide you to this location)

If you are heading to the city center, also follow the signs with the indication (parking VL), direction Italy

Traffic will be blocked on the following routes:

• Avenue Carnot
• Avenue Félix-Faure
• Place St-Roch
• Rue Adhémar-de-Lantagnac
• Promenade du Soleil (seaside)
• Rue Pasteur

On the days of the Golden Fruit Corso (Sunday afternoon), the City of Menton provides free parking for cars as well as shuttles.
Please note, on Sundays:
  • Parking P2 is not served by shuttles
  • Parking P4 Koaland is reserved for campers

Parking P1 (Highway Exit):

• Location: Near Intermarché, follow the signs post-exit from Highway No. 59 Menton.
• Shuttle P1: Connects parking P1 to the central bus station (5 minutes walk from the Fête du Citron®).
• Shuttle P1 Schedule: 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM (outbound), 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM (return).

Parking P2 (Stade Rondelli):

• Location: Located at Stade Rondelli, Garavan area, near the Italian border.
• Not served by shuttles.
• Walking distance: 15 minutes to the Fête du Citron®.

Parking P3 (Stade du Val d’Anaud):

• Location: At Stade du Val d’Anaud, follow the signs.
• Shuttle P3: Connects the stadium to Parc Koaland (Madone district).
• Shuttle P3 Schedule: Sundays during the festival, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (outbound), 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM (return).
• Walking distance from Koaland: 15 minutes to the Fête du Citron®.

Parking P4 (Koaland):

• Special feature: Accessible exclusively to campers on Sunday parades (subject to change).
• Walking distance from Koaland: 15 minutes to the Fête du Citron®.

Parking P5/BA943 (Roquebrune-Cap-Martin):

• Location: In Roquebrune Cap Martin, follow the signs.
• Shuttle P6/BA 943: Connects Place d’Armes to Base Aérienne 943.
• Shuttle BA 943 Schedule: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (outbound), 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM (return).
• Meeting point for the return: In front of the Genesis hotel, near Place d’Armes.
• Walking distance from Place d’Armes: 15 minutes to the Fête du Citron®.
• Tip: Close proximity to Carnoles station for easy access to Menton station, very close to the Fête du Citron®.

Parking P6 (Port de Menton Garavan):

• Location: Located at the Port de Menton Garavan, easily accessible from Italy, follow the signs.
• Free parking: From 10 AM to 9 PM during the three Sunday parades.
• Not served by shuttles.
• Walking distance: 25 minutes to the Fête du Citron®.
• Tip: Menton Garavan station, near P6, offers quick access to Menton station, very close to the Fête du Citron®.

During all our events, numerous paid parking lots near the sites are also available.
Attention!
  • Parking Saint-Roch is located within the parade route. Please check its opening hours on Sundays and Thursdays.

For the Fête du Citron®, INTERPARKING offers you the opportunity to park in a secure, 24/7 accessible space. Find our teams at the Saint-Roch Hôtel de Ville and Vieille-Ville Sablettes parking lots to receive the best advice. There are 10 charging stations for electric vehicles and 17 motorcycle parking spaces available at the Vieille Ville Sablettes parking lot.
