Since 1936, the Biovès Gardens, the birthplace of the Fête du Citron® (Lemon Festival), have been transformed into a dazzling celebration of sunshine, glowing with vibrant shades of yellow and orange.
Spectacular displays, some of which require nearly fifteen tonnes of citrus fruit...
Every year, thousands of hours of work are needed to create these temporary sculptures, with each fruit carefully placed by hand, one by one. These monumental citrus sculptures amaze and delight thousands of visitors.
For health and safety reasons, animals are not permitted at the citrus sculpture exhibition, along the parade routes or inside the Palais de l’Europe.
